Ant farm Hercules 2-solid concrete and glass formicarium

Concrete and glass formicarium with dimensions:

- dimensions of the concrete part (outer contour): 20 * 30 * 5 cm

- arena dimensions: 20 * 11 * 7 cm

The formicarium has a chamber for hydration in the front part of the formicarium and 6 chambers in the form of labyrinths for colonization by ants.

The formicarium has 1 blinded hole fi 10 for resettlement in the side wall of the arena (the attached photo is out of date, the current version has 1 hole for resettlement)

There is a ventilation plug in the arena lid.

The material used for production is cellular concrete, aluminum profiles and flat glass.

Min. number of ants to colonize the formicarium: queen plus 20 Messor barbarus ants.

The maximum number of ants that the formicarium can hold: the queen plus 600 ants.

Formicarium description

This formicarium is ideal for breeding most of ants. It has transparent walls so you can observe the life of the colony from all sides. The design has been thought out so that the owner can easily keep the formicarium clean, it also provides a microclimate close to natural.
