Description
Natural Quartz Sand for Formicarium – Light, Fine, and Pure
Weight: 150 g
Grain size: 0.1–0.4 mm
Natural light-colored quartz sand is the perfect substrate for your formicarium and ant arena. Its fine grain size (0.1–0.4 mm) makes it an excellent decorative and functional element for creating a natural habitat for your ant colony.
Sourced from the purest deposits in Poland and processed through multiple steps—including washing, heat drying, and precise sieving—this sand contains nearly 100% pure quartz with no organic impurities. This guarantees it is completely safe for ants and other small invertebrates.
This decorative sand mimics the ants’ natural environment, supports their natural behaviors, and enhances the aesthetic appeal of your formicarium. It can be used both as a decorative layer or a practical substrate, for example, in feeding areas.
Key Benefits:
-
High purity and quality with no harmful substances
-
Provides an attractive finish for arenas and formicaria
-
Creates a natural habitat for ant colonies
-
