Glass Ant Arena (Outworld) – 30 × 20 × 12 cm
The 30 × 20 × 12 cm glass ant arena is a practical outworld designed for feeding, observing the colony and expanding an existing formicarium setup. Its increased height provides plenty of usable space and supports good air circulation.
It works well both for keeping ants at home and as part of a larger setup connected to a nest or formicarium.

What is the glass ant arena used for?
The arena serves as the colony’s activity and foraging area. It can be used as:
- a space for serving food and water,
- an observation area for watching the ants’ natural behaviour,
- a customisable outworld with sand, gravel and decorations.
A separate arena makes it easier to keep the nest clean and gives the keeper greater flexibility when expanding the colony’s setup.
Construction and ventilation
- Two Ø 50 mm ventilation openings fitted with stainless-steel mesh in the top cover provide good airflow.
- Two aluminium handles make the cover easier to lift.
- Two Ø 10 mm openings in the side walls allow the arena to be connected with tubing; both openings are supplied with plugs.
- The arena can be connected to a nest or another formicarium.
- The upper edges are finished with a silicone seal to improve enclosure security and reduce the risk of escapes.
