Description
Digital Thermometer & Hygrometer 2-in-1 – Precise Measurement in a Compact Form
A small yet highly functional measuring device, perfect for formicariums and terrariums. It allows simultaneous monitoring of temperature and humidity – two key parameters in ant keeping and care of other terrarium animals.
External dimensions: 48 mm × 29 mm
Application:
This device is ideal for formicariums, where precise control of the microclimate directly affects the health and activity of the colony. Optimal humidity levels vary depending on the ant species:
-
Messor barbarus: 40–50%
-
Lasius niger: 50–60%
-
Exotic species: up to 100%
Why is it worth choosing?
-
Compact size – fits easily into small spaces
-
Clear 3-digit temperature display – more precise than 2-digit models
-
Dual battery pack – works on a single AG13/LR44 battery, but includes two batteries for longer life and more stable power
-
Fast response and good measurement resolution
-
Flexible installation – can be mounted or used freely; fits neatly into rectangular openings
-
Dual parameter reading – full control over environmental conditions in one device
Usage guidelines:
-
Do not place directly near heating or cooling sources
-
Avoid direct sunlight and steam exposure
-
Do not breathe onto the sensor – moisture from breath can affect readings
-
Keep the device clean; do not use in dusty environments
Humidity measurement accuracy: ±5–10%
