The functionality of the arenas

Foraging ants in the arena
In artificial conditions, such as the arena, it enables ants to forage, that is, to search for food. In artificial conditions, it is the breeder who obtains food for the ants, in natural conditions the ants, with the help of pheromones and the organ of sight, return with food to the anthill. Therefore, breeders arrange the arena in a way that most closely resembles the conditions of the natural environment.
Ventilation of the arenas
Ventilation of the arenas is especially useful for beginner ant keeper who, in their goodness, have exaggerated with irrigation or the problem arose after using a heating mat.
