Formicarium functionality
Formicarium is made of glass wtaht means that with many years of careful use, the formicarium will last a long time.
The formicarium has one blinded hole for resettlement, fi 10 mm (possibility of connecting further modules in the event of colony multiplication) and one ventilation hole (ventilation plug in the top cover). The blinded vent provides air access.
Silicone gasket between the lid and the basic part of the formicarium ensures tightness (prevents the escape of ants)
Terrarium for ants recommended in keeping the following species: Lasius niger, Lasius flavus, Formica fusca, Formica lemani, Tetramorium caespitum.
