Brand formicarium for raising ants at home, ant farm
A medium-sized formicarium recommended for rasing ants at home.
This formicarium is recommended for rasing the following species at home: Lasius niger, Lasius flavus, Formica fusca, Formica lemani, Tetramorium caespitum.
The offer does not include formicarium equipment.

Dimensions of the nest part (cork) ~15 cm x 8 cm x 1 cm
Arena dimensions: 20 cm x 10 cm x 10 cm
Holes for resettlement: the formicarium has 2 blinded holes ( fi 10 mm) in the side walls, that enable to connection other nest or arena by means of of a hose/tubing.
The formicarium has transparent walls so you can observe the life of the colony from all sides. The design has been thought out so that the owner can easily keep the formicarium clean, it also provides a microclimate close to natural. By using a nest made of cork, ants can drill many corridors and chambers. The materials used to make the formicarium are harmless to ants and the environment. It's a nice gift for someone thirsty for the company of animals.
Functionality of Brand formicarium
