The protective cover is made of transparent red plexiglass.

Irrigation:
Irrigation is carried out by instilling a chamber with an irrigation sponge. Moisture seeps into adjacent chambers, from where the ants take it up.

Formicarium functionality:

1) The red protective cover keeps the ants calm and dark.

2) The use of transparent plexiglass enables comfortable observation of the ant life from each side of the formicarium.

3) The formicarium is ventilated through micro holes in the nest part and micro holes in the side walls of the arena.

4) The formicarium can be easily cleaned as it is easy to disassemble and reassemble.

5) The nest is screwed with stainless screws, which ensures tightness and the possibility of long-term use of the formicarium.

6) The lid of the formicarium is easy to raise/ put on thanks to the side handles.

7) The side plugged holes in the arena allow for the attachment of further modules/nests/formicariums, thanks to which the breeder has the opportunity to enlarge the living space of the ants in the event of an enlargement of the ant colony with the help of a hose (tubing)
