Hydration system
Water is added directly into the hydration chamber containing a sponge. Moisture gradually seeps into the neighboring chambers, from where ants can access it.
Functionality and features
The red cover provides darkness and peace for the ants, while the clear acrylic construction allows for easy observation of the colony from any angle.
Ventilation is ensured by micro holes in the nest section and side walls of the arena.
The formicarium is easy to clean and reassemble thanks to its modular design. The nest is secured with stainless steel screws, ensuring a tight seal and long-term durability.
The lid can be easily removed and replaced using side handles.
Side openings in the arena allow for expansion with additional nests or modules as the colony grows.
