Formicarium Tower for raising ants at home

TOWER cork formicarium - terrarium recommended for breeding ants at home.

The formicarium has transparent walls, so you can observe the life of the colony from the all sides. The design has been thought out so that the owner can easily keep the formicarium clean, it also provides a microclimate close to natural. Using a nest made of cork, ants can drill through many corridors and chambers. The materials used to make the formicarium are harmless to ants and the environment.

Terrarium for ants recommended in the raising of species: Lasius niger, Lasius flavus, Formica fusca, Formica lemani, Tetramorium caespitum, Camponotus.

The arena has a blind fi10 mm hole for connecting the hose in case of colony enlargement.

Functionality of the Tower formicarium:

1) The ant terrarium is mainly made of glass, with careful use it is long-lived, just wash it if necessary. The cork, which wears out during the breeding of the ants (which is a natural process), is easy to replace.

The transparent walls of the formicarium allow you to easily observe the life of ants.

2) The use of a silicone gasket in the upper part of the arena causes the lid to adhere tightly to the rest of the formicarium, which ensures tightness of the formicarium (ants will not escape during breeding)

3) Ventilation plug in the top cover provides air supply to the formicarium.

4) The side opening in the formicarium allows for its expansion with further modules.
