Nest for raising ants at home - SANDWICH medium size

- Thickness of the nest part - external 18 mm, internal 10 mm

- in the side walls of the formicarium there are 10 mm wide openings for connection to the arenas (end caps)

Advantages of breeding ants in a Sandwich nest

Thanks to the unusual construction of the nest, we can observe the life of ants from two sides.

Due to the use of soil filling, the ants gain conditions that are as close to natural as possible.

The possibility of using different colors of the filling (different shades of soil, gravel, absorbents, coconut mixes, vermiculite, etc.) allows you to obtain the substrate required for a given species of ants.

Sandwich is intended for breeding the following species of ants: Lasius niger, Formica lemani, Formica sanguinea, Formica cinerea, Formica fusca
